Position Overview

Our client is seeking a technically excellent and commercially astute Senior Associate to join their Construction Insurance team in London. This is a high-profile role within a dynamic team, advising insurers and construction professionals on complex, high-value matters often involving international elements.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of complex contentious matters, including professional indemnity claims involving architects, engineers, surveyors, and design & build contractors.
• Acting in litigated construction disputes, often with cross-border dimensions.
• Providing strategic risk management advice to clients on insurance and construction liability issues.
• Supervising, mentoring, and supporting junior team members.
• Engaging in marketing and business development initiatives, including client presentations, seminars, and thought leadership.

Requirements

• 5 PQE +
• Proven experience in coverage insurance litigation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent academic record and professional credentials
