Position: Legal Secretary / Paralegal (Property) Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid working available) Salary: 28,000 35,000 DOE

What youll be doing:
– Preparing, formatting, and updating legal documentation and correspondence with precision – Supporting the full property transaction process from initial searches and registrations to liaising with clients and external parties – Managing client and matter onboarding/offboarding, including AML and conflict checks – Organising team diaries, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel when required – Assisting with billing, invoicing, and other financial admin tasks – Keeping both digital and physical files organised, scanned, and up-to-date – Acting as a first point of contact for clients, providing updates and handling enquiries with professionalism
About you:
– Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal, ideally within a property or conveyancing setting – Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail – Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask – Confident communicator, both in writing and over the phone – Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with legal case management systems – Knowledge of property processes, including Land Registry and SDLT, is highly advantageous – Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to support wherever needed
