This is an exciting opportunity to join a global publishing group in South Oxfordshire. They’re looking for an ambitious Group Accountant to support their central team and the future growth of the business.

Your new role

As the successful candidate, your duties will include:

1. Assisting in the production of statutory accounts and liaising with auditors
2. Preparing reporting packages for the parent company and SLT
3. Managing group consolidation, assisting with budgets
4. Managing the production of the corporate tax estimates and tax packs
5. Assisting with VAT returns
6. Preparing account reconciliations
7. Assisting with ONS

What you’ll need to succeed

To be the successful candidate, you will need to have / be:

• Qualified ACA or ACCA, or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
• Experience with consolidation
• Experience working in/with a group environment
