Lead AV Installation Engineer

Salary: circa £40,000+ Paid overtime

Company: An AV Technology company for the future, rapidly expanding and driving forward the most up-to-date Technology in Digital Signage, Audio Visual, and IT.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out first and second fix installation activities on time and to the required standard.
• Having excellent soldering, crimping, and terminating skills.
• Working under instruction from Senior Engineers and Project Managers, while also suggesting engineering solutions on site.
• Working from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans, and drawings, including updating schematics with any changes.
• Managing, motivating, and being responsible for an onsite project team.
• Ensuring the quality and productivity of the project team, maintaining professionalism.
• Preparing systems for handover from installation to commissioning, including documentation.
• Installing Video Conferencing systems.
• Installing Audio Visual systems.

Key Skills, Experience, and Knowledge

• CTS qualification would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and on initiative.
• Experience in AV installations, wiring methods, and production.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Understanding of control systems like AMX/Crestron and Video Conferencing systems is advantageous.
• A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
