We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers/Learning Disability Carersto join our team. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with mental health needs, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
– Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with mental health needs– Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care and medication management– Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet individual needs– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care– Maintain accurate records and reports– Promote independence, dignity, and respect for individuals
Requirements:
– Relevant qualifications/Experiencein mental health or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3)– Experience working in mental health support or a similar field – for atleast 6 months– PMVA training (or willingness to complete)– One Day mandatory Health care training or (Basic life support, Manual handling and Fire safety – Face to face training certificates)– Up-to-date UK immunization records and Hepatitis B titre level Blood test results– Strong communication and interpersonal skills– Ability to work flexibly and prioritize individual needs
