Role Description

LV=GI has a new opportunity for a Principal Pricing Analyst covering our offices in Birmingham, Bournemouth, Leeds, and London.

You will collaborate with the wider Pricing and Data Science teams to develop best practices, deliver projects on time, interpret project requirements, and maintain relationships across the company.

You will participate in the Global P&C Academy, enhancing skills in underwriting, risk engineering, pricing, and claims management, with opportunities for actuarial qualification support through the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK.

Our team values continuous learning, offering access to platforms like DataCamp, Databricks Academy, and LinkedIn Learning, along with Lunch and Learn sessions and monthly insight forums.

Salary Information

Circa £70,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and location. Salary is part of the total reward package.

About You

Responsibilities include developing automated claims projections, stakeholder collaboration, forecasting roll-out, model updates, industry best practice monitoring, guidance provision, innovation in forecasting, and adherence to governance standards.

Qualifications include significant pricing or reserving experience, knowledge of actuarial methods and software, insurance pricing experience, understanding of modelling techniques, regulatory knowledge, proficiency in Radar and Emblem or similar, and project management skills. Additional desirable skills include data science experience and knowledge of Agile processes.
