Position Overview

Apollo is seeking an individual to join its expanding team of Institutional Product Specialists to drive AUM growth for its equity business.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Lead communication, engagement, and relationship-building efforts with clients to drive AUM growth for the equity product vertical.
  2. Responsible for scaling key relationships to maximize fundraising outcomes across our equity product suite (PE, AAA, HVF, AIM, S3 Equity, etc.).
  3. Increase client touchpoints and product ecosystem intimacy to enhance Apollo’s brand and strategy awareness.
  4. Partner with sales and investment teams to serve as “PM surrogate” in front of investors, with accountability for AUM growth.
  5. During fundraising periods, travel as needed to engage with investors and facilitate diligence and closing processes.
  6. Coordinate with the Product Management team to ensure appropriate coverage for investor dialogues and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  7. Participate in relevant fund ICs to inform product knowledge and shape pitches.
  8. Contribute to marketing materials to reflect product perspectives, market intelligence, and client requirements.
  9. Assist in developing content themes for annual meetings.
  10. Maintain a track record of engaging with sophisticated institutional investors and positioning equity strategies effectively.
  11. Participate in industry events and conferences to stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes in the EMEA market.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record
  • Extensive client and/or investing experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% for client engagement
  • Understanding of alternatives as a product suite
  • Driven, entrepreneurial, and self-starter mindset
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Uncompromising integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly
