Contract Role: HR Data Management Administrator (Workday)

  • Contract duration: 9 months
  • Hourly rate: c£25 to £28 (via Umbrella)
  • Location: Hybrid (3 days in Stockley Park, Uxbridge, West London)

The Opportunity:

As a key member of our HR Shared Services team for a global client, you will handle critical HR transactions in Workday for the EMEA region, including promotions, compensation adjustments, and job changes.

We seek a candidate passionate about Human Resources, eager to assist employees with HR inquiries, and interested in expanding their HR knowledge across various functions.

The ideal team member will be detail-oriented, adaptable to process and system changes, problem-solving, and capable of creating order from ambiguity.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years in HR or HR Shared Services, focusing on employee data administration
  • Experience with HR systems, especially Workday
  • Familiarity with case management tools like ServiceNow (preferred)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)
  • Experience documenting business processes visually (MS Visio preferred)
  • HR qualification or similar certification (CIPD) is desirable

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and respond to escalated and complex HR queries, liaising with local HR, Centers of Excellence, and other stakeholders
  • Serve as an escalation point for tier one employee support regarding HR procedures, policies, and processes, ensuring global consistency with local relevance
  • Verify and validate employee data related to compensation, status, position, organizational changes, and employee personal information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain and administer HR data in Workday proactively, inputting, updating, and reconciling data to keep information current
  • Regularly audit global HR data for accuracy and compliance, and test new Workday enhancements prior to release
