Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per year, depending on experience
Location: Durham, Northallerton, Otley, Penrith or Kendal office with hybrid working
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Due to our continued expansion, we seek a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer to join our Building Services team at Align Property Services.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing services related to building pathology, design, project management, building surveys, and contract administration.
- Producing early design advice and detailed electrical services designs.
- Managing a busy project workload, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering engineering solutions within budget and schedule.
- Advising on Health and Safety, fire safety, and sustainability during the design and construction phases, in compliance with CDM regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree or HNC in Building Services/Electrical Engineering; MCIBSE is a plus.
- Significant industry experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Experience in electrical surveys, defect investigations, feasibility studies, and sustainability reports.
- Ability to produce high-standard electrical designs, drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Support and develop junior engineers.
- Supervise electrical installation work on-site (Clerk of Works / NEC Supervisor).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and NBS software.
- Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
