Role Overview:

Seeking an Azure Infrastructure Analyst to join the Support & Operations team. The role involves maintaining the stability, scalability, security, and resilience of Azure-based systems, providing exceptional support to customers, and managing escalated issues. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for discussing complex technical details with global customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide infrastructure support for healthcare managed service customers.
  2. Manage and resolve assigned incidents, ensuring professional communication with customers.
  3. Maintain Azure infrastructure, including patching, updates, certificate management, and security.
  4. Recommend and implement service improvements.
  5. Diagnose and resolve system issues.
  6. Act as an escalation point for complex incidents.
  7. Support distributed microservices architecture and release deployments.
  8. Monitor and report on system performance.
  9. Enhance existing system monitoring solutions.
  10. Manage technical customer issues via phone, chat, email, and remote sessions.
  11. Ensure system stability, performance, and efficiency.
  12. Provide out-of-hours support on a rota basis, including shift work.
  13. Collaborate with Development, QA, and Product teams to resolve cases.
  14. Stay updated on supported technologies and participate in knowledge transfer.
  15. Work with clients, vendors, and technical groups to support and escalate technical incidents.
  16. Adhere to Change, Incident, and Problem Management procedures.
  17. Experience with Microsoft Azure (ideally with certifications).
  18. Supporting Windows Server and Cloud-Based Network Infrastructure.
  19. Querying data sources (e.g., Azure Application Insights, Cosmos DB, SQL Server).
  20. Network and data security.
  21. Experience in a Support & Operations function supporting custom applications.
  22. Knowledge of service management processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  23. Performance monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights, Prometheus & Grafana, SolarWinds).
  24. Network and firewall configuration.
  25. Understanding of Azure data services.
  26. Experience with identity management and RBAC.
  27. Understanding of Azure security principles.
  28. Knowledge of ITIL v3 processes (ideally with certifications).
  29. Experience in regulated environments (GAMP5).
  30. Background in pharmaceutical manufacturing and healthcare markets.
  31. Experience in operations/NOC/SOC and/or support teams.
