Network Security Engineer6-month contractOutside IR35Remote workingActive SC Clearance Essential We are supporting a leading utilities provider searching for a Newtork Security Engineer to join the team. This is an initial 6-month contract with the scope to be extended.Key responsibilities

• Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role within enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Fortinet FortiGate solutions.
• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot next-generation firewalls (NGFW), particularly Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet .
• Perform firewall rule reviews, audits, and optimisation to enforce least privilege access.
• Experience with Prisma Access and secure access service edge (SASE) frameworks.
• Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role within enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of network architecture principles, including segmentation, zero trust, and high availability designs.
• Some OOH work is expected at weekends/evenings for production migrations
