Burning Rock Dx. (NASDAQ:BNR) was founded in 2014 and specializes in providing Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) products and services to support the entire process of the precision medicine development cycle. Burning Rock Dx. is headquartered in Guangzhou, China, with laboratories and offices in Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, and California, USA, employing over 1,000 people worldwide. Its business spans more than 30 provinces and autonomous regions in China, the United States, and Europe.
The ideal candidate will lead the organization’s business development activities and drive sales. They will play a key role in generating new business and managing marketing and customer service activities.
Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified potential new and/or existing customers in the UK market;
- Develop business and regulatory plans for the UK market and achieve operational plan objectives;
- Identify opportunities from marketing leads, and communicate with and manage local business partners;
- Understand market information and report to company headquarters in a timely manner;
- Collaborate with other departments to establish necessary operational processes for the UK market;
- Build brand awareness of the company and its product solutions in the UK;
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly resolving all customer inquiries.
Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales within molecular pathology or IVD related markets;
- BS or MS degree in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, or Clinical Medicine; MBA and/or PhD is a plus;
- Good knowledge of the local molecular pathology market; international and multicultural experience is preferred;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, with high attention to detail and operational excellence;
- Energetic with strong motivation to find new business opportunities quickly;
- Familiar with the business model of selling imported products in Europe;
- Fluent in English, with good spoken and listening skills in German preferred.
