We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Sustainability Lead/Manager to join an expanding supplier to major high street brands and retailers in the UK and Europe.
With the opportunity to progress as you grow this area with their existing customers.
You will have a strong background within apparel in this area
Coordinating from the UK you will interact with high street fashion retailers and brands in Europe to include major UK value fashion multiples and supermarkets.
Sustainability Manager/ Lead – Reporting into Directors and working with both internal teams and major UK Retailers.
· interacting with customers to instigate and promote initiatives,
· work closely with key partners to make the right decisions and have a full knowledge of the sustainability goals within the apparel sector, including legislative requirements in the coming years advising on the roadmap.
· Coordinating with our international offices, factories and customers.
The Role Sustainability Lead/Manager Experience in Sustainably and Compliance
- At minimum of 5 years in a Management or leadership role in Sustainability with an underlying career in either fabric or technical.
- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels.
· Strong knowledge of sustainability legislation and best practise in relation to fashion supply chains
- Working with Bangladesh and other major manufacturing centres.
