We are a respected, privately-owned housebuilder known for crafting high-quality homes throughout the East and West Midlands. We are currently seeking a skilled Setting Out Engineer to join our team at our Loughborough headquarters.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Setting Out Engineer to support our housing developments by ensuring accurate surveying and setting out across multiple sites. This hands-on role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise setting out for house foundations, roads, sewers, and groundworks on various residential developments.
- Conduct pre-site investigations, including trial holes to verify service locations and gather additional topographical data.
- Create and manage site setting out information for both internal teams and external contractors.
- Carry out as-built surveys across all relevant developments.
- Check and verify subcontractors’ setting out work for accuracy and compliance.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience in a similar Setting Out Engineer role.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Robotic GPS Total Station systems.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and time-management abilities.
- Self-driven and capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
- Possess a valid UK driving licence.
