Job Title; Technical Sales SupportSalary; £30,000 per annumShift Pattern; 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday to FridayLocation; Oakham, RutlandOur client, a fast growing specialist company based in Oakham, is seeking an Engineering Technical Sales Support who demonstrates enthusiasm, organisational skills and able to prioritise workloads to ensure a smooth running of the business.If you are seeking a new challenge as part of a growing company then please apply!The Technical Sales Support Role; * Develop and target new business prospects * Expand business with dormant and existing accounts * Prepare detailed technical cost estimates and build competitive, customer-specific proposals * Create service, parts and new product quotes and maintain consistent follow-up communication with customers * Identify current and future customer service requirements * Actively utilise CRM to record activities, ensuring contact details are accurate, new information is added, and accurate call / visit logs are entered * Research and analyse market trends, including parts pricing, and competitor offerings * Liaising with customers, and internal departments, throughout the front-end planning ensuring timely service delivery * General and technical administration and support * Provide technical expertise and application support throughout the sales lifecycle. * Attend client meetings, industry events, and conferences, requiring occasional travelThe Technical Sales Support Candidate; * Experience within a technical sales role * Qualifications within Engineering would be advantageous * Excellent Customer Service and interpersonal skills * Attention to detail * Able to work independently within a fast paced environment * Ability to research and analyse market trends, competitor offerings and pricing strategies * Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry eventsThe Technical Sales Support Benefits; * Annual Profit Scheme bonus * Competitive salary * Free car parking * Pension scheme (after 3 months service)If you are interested in the Technical Sales Support opportunity please apply directly through this website or call Jacob Thomas Associates…
