About the Role
- Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
- Develop creative and differentiated lesson plans to meet individual learning needs.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes progress and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, Learning Support Assistants, therapists, and parents/carers.
- Monitor and assess pupils’ progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and target setting.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working with children and young people with SEN, either within a mainstream or specialist setting.
- Sound knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies for pupils with additional needs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A nurturing and patient approach, with a strong commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.
