Job Description
The Senior Property Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of a portfolio of developments in and around the Bristol area. Key responsibilities and tasks include:
- Carry out development inspections as necessary to ensure the company's responsibilities are met.
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding the management of their development, ensuring communication strategies are achieved and reviewed regularly.
- Manage the relationship with the customer, responding to queries, building positive relationships with stakeholders, reporting to clients regularly and attending meetings with customers and clients as required.
- Work with customer‑formed groups such as RAs, RMCs, RTM, etc.
- Ensure customer complaints are resolved effectively and in a timely manner.
- Liaise with the Accounts department to ensure accurate financial management of the development.
- Source, appoint and manage competent trade persons to undertake works across the portfolio.
- Ensure all works undertaken by contractors are of suitable quality and cost‑effective.
- Ensure all Health & Safety and industry legislation is adhered to.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in the residential property management sector.
- Ideally ATPI qualified.
- Proven track record in customer service with excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels.
- Must have a full UK driving licence.
- Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft packages.
- Previous experience of contract management.
- Client focused, organised, self‑motivated, with the ability to use one's own initiative and work to tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail, whilst having the ability to keep perspective and make informed decisions.
