A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Disputes Lawyer, Solicitor or Legal Executive (2+ Years PQE) to join a long-established, modern, and forward-thinking law firm in Norwich. Representing individuals and SMEs, you will provide commercially focused legal advice. A proactive approach and sense of urgency are key.
The Role
You will manage a diverse caseload across property, commercial, contentious probate, and employment disputes.
Key Responsibilities
Property & Landlord‑Tenant Disputes
- Advise on residential lease extensions and First‑tier Tribunal representation
- Handle commercial lease renewals and forfeiture
- Manage unpaid rent recovery
- Assist with residential possession claims and service charge disputes
- Advise on dilapidation claims and fitness for human habitation
- Draft tenancy agreements and advise landlords
Contentious Probate & Trusts
- Challenge wills and handle inheritance claims
- Make applications to remove executors
Commercial Disputes
- Handle breach of contract and misrepresentation cases
- Advise on shareholder and partnership disputes
- Manage debt recovery and enforcement of judgments
- Assist with winding‑up proceedings in the High Court
Freehold Land Disputes
- Resolve boundary disputes (including agricultural land)
- Handle adverse possession and nuisance claims
- Advise on restrictive covenants and proprietary estoppel
- Assist with property sale disputes
- Advise on TOLATA claims and property sales
Employment Law
- Provide advice on employment status, disciplinary issues, redundancies, and TUPE
- Represent clients in harassment and discrimination claims
- Draft employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements

- 2+ years PQE in dispute resolution
- Commercially minded with a client‑focused approach
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload under pressure
