Overview

Dahlia Recruitment Renewables are partnered with a European specialty gas company to recruit for an experienced Business Development Manager position. This is a remote role covering the UK and will require some EU travel. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities and managing key customer accounts within the Compressed Gas (High Pressure) sector. While experience with LPG and Refrigerant gases is beneficial, the primary responsibility is to support and grow a portfolio of customers predominantly operating in compressed gas applications.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical understanding with commercial acumen to strengthen market presence, win new business, and deliver tailored solutions across industrial and high-pressure gas markets.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company footprint across the UK and Ireland, with a strong emphasis on high-pressure valves, regulators, and associated gas equipment technologies. This is a field-based role (typically 3-4 days travel per week) with an office base in Derby and you would be expected to attend meetings here apx 2 days a month.

You will be responsible for both business development and active management of an existing customer account portfolio—the majority of which operate in the compressed gas sector, with only a small number of key LPG accounts.

Your mission: drive growth, deepen customer relationships, and develop high-pressure gas solutions that meet evolving market needs.
