Family Lawyer (circa 4+ PQE) – Liverpool
We are seeking an experienced and confident Family Lawyer (circa 4 years PQE) to join a growing and highly regarded Family Team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a family solicitor looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, progressive and well‑established firm.
About the Role
You will manage a varied and stimulating caseload of private family law matters with a high degree of autonomy, while benefitting from the guidance of an experienced partner and a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of private family matters with minimal supervision
- Advise clients across the full spectrum of family law, including:
- Divorce
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private children law matters
- Cohabitation disputes and Schedule 1 claims
- Pre- and postnuptial agreements
- Draft high‑quality pleadings, statements, agreements, and correspondence.
- Conduct negotiations and advise clients on settlement strategy.
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, including FDRs and final hearings.
- Instruct and liaise with counsel, experts, and other professionals.
- Provide guidance on and promote non‑court dispute resolution options.
- Deliver excellent client care, managing expectations with empathy and professionalism.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
- Contribute to the ongoing development, profile, and success of the team and the wider firm.
