Job Description

We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Account Engineer to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy. In the Strategic Account Engineer role, you will provide technical support for sales across various Lines of Business in Vertiv for the strategic customers, working as a part of a large team. In this role you will provide Sales with technical support in building proposals, quotes, and tenders, with direct responsibility on local accounts or projects, but also enable the development of technically and price competitive applications for products to fulfil customer requirements where standard products do not fit.

You will need to have the technical competence to understand and demonstrate the Vertiv offering and our capabilities for your specific segment. Your targets will be set to align with the growth expectations of the market and Vertiv strategic position with the respective accounts.

Senior Technical Sales have a key role in Vertiv and consequently we are looking for a highly competent, energetic, and ambitious individual to take on this role within the organization, learn and develop skills across different products, lines of business, customers, and regions. You will be part of a large team of Application Engineers and Technical Sales Experts with clear competencies, career paths and opportunities to take your career to the next level.
