Role Overview

Chepstow House School are currently looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated Head of Admissions to join our team in May 2024.

Responsibilities

As the Head of Admissions, you will lead the acquisition and conversion processes, including outreach and recruitment events, and support the retention strategy at Chepstow House School.

Reporting directly to the Head, with a dotted line into the Director of Customer Acquisition & Experience Europe, you will be enrolment focused and responsible for delivering and developing a highly effective acquisition and retention function—responsive to evolving target audience needs, grounded in customer‑service excellence and the school’s values. The successful candidate will bring innovative thinking and a collaborative leadership style, advising the Head and motivating the Admissions team and/or Senior Leadership team to achieve enhanced enrolment and retention outcomes.

The Head of Admissions is expected to adopt a whole‑school approach, understanding the importance of daily school life and events in relation to termly activities. He or she will also attend whole‑school events to gain a thorough understanding of the academic and pastoral experiences students can expect.
