Indirect Tax Senior Manager (part-time)

A growing insurance business is seeking indirect tax support on a temporary basis. This role is purposed to manage indirect tax (VAT & IPT) compliance obligations, reporting to the Head of Tax with a dotted line to a senior finance stakeholder, managing with outsourced advisors and relations with tax authorities.

Responsibilities will include:

• preparation of VAT returns
• review IPT returns
• raising and dealing with all queries relating to VAT payments
• review and test Indirect Tax reporting processes and systems and recommend best practice, overseeing any improvements and controls implementation
• support with transfer pricing

The successful candidate:

• Demonstrable, hands on experience with indirect tax compliance and advisory, working with PESMs
• Experience within the insurance sector and working with insurance premium taxes advantageous
