An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Private Client solicitor to join a prominent Scottish firm as a Legal Director in their Private Client team. This is a key strategic hire within a firm that is entering a new phase of growth, with Private Client work at the forefront of their expansion plans. This position aligns to the firm's succession planning for their Private Client Practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a varied and often complex caseload of Private Client matters.
- Supervise and mentor team members across the team.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the firm to strengthen the Private Client offering.
- Drive department development initiatives and contribute to the firm’s ongoing growth.
- Conduct internal training and contribute to the development of best practices within the department.
About You
- 7+ years PQE with extensive Private Client experience.
- STEP qualification is ideal but not essential.
- A client‑focused approach, delivering pragmatic and tailored legal advice.
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior Solicitors would be advantageous.
- A collaborative, forward‑thinking approach with the ability to drive change.
