Introduction

This role will be responsible for the preparation, delivery, and presentation of key financial statements to the Director Accounting. As an Accountant at Pulse, you will manage our day-to-day accounting, tax matters and finance requirements. You are the perfect match, if you have experience in bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for our bookkeeping, reviewing, and posting all month-end journals (e.g., accruals, prepayments).
• You will process all incoming invoices and track outgoing invoices.
• You will handle the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
• You prepare the year-end audit file and liaise with the external accountant and auditors.
• You will provide payroll information to an external payroll provider and review the information received before FPS is processed.
• You are responsible for the preparation of cash-flow statements every week.
  
  

Your Skills

• You possess a degree in accounting or business administration and at least 5 years of business experience in a start-up or fast-growing industry.
• You are qualified or actively studying professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA)
• You have got experience using accounting software (Sage Business Cloud, Xero). QuickBooks experience is highly desirable.
• You possess knowledge and experience in preparatory payroll.
• You are very well organized, can set priorities and work independently with an eye for details.
