Position Overview
This fast‑paced role focuses on providing expert legal support in structured finance transactions, including securitisation, asset‑backed lending, trade finance and fintech lending, as well as crypto and venture capital investments. The candidate will lead transactional execution, support the life cycle of each transaction, and contribute to the advancement of the firm’s business objectives in close cooperation with business teams and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of PQE in a reputable law firm or financial institution.
Responsibilities
- Structuring, drafting and executing structured finance deals, including securitisation, asset‑backed lending, trade finance and fintech lending, as well as crypto and venture capital investments.
- Serving as the main legal point of contact during execution, liaising with business teams and external advisors, and overseeing legal aspects of each transaction’s lifecycle.
- Overseeing each transaction from start to finish, ensuring it stays on track and checking in regularly on progress and compliance.
- Providing day‑to‑day legal support across different teams, helping them understand the legal angles and supporting their broader goals.
- Providing corporate assistance in structuring, managing and maintaining investment vehicles in various jurisdictions.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE).
- Experience working as a lawyer in a finance‑related field.
