Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing strategies to secure them successfully
- Building strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored proposals, quotes, and pricing
- Maintaining and growing relationships with current clients, achieving a 10% annual growth rate on accounts through upselling and cross-selling
- Communicating effectively with clients, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and managing expectations
- Creating and achieve sales forecasts, actively working towards meeting and exceeding targets
- Using bespoke internal software for quoting and pricing
Qualifications
- Proven track record in business development or sales roles, within the energy sector
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present tailored solutions
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
- Familiarity with sales software and a proactive approach to learning bespoke systems
- Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events
