A friendly, experienced small‑animal GP veterinary surgeon is required to join our brand‑new, rapidly growing independent practice in Hawick.

Roadhouse Vets was founded by two experienced vets, Catharine and Rosie, with a shared vision to create a traditional, community‑based, vet‑led practice where clinical standards and continuity of care come first.

About the role

• Part‑time: 20–30 hours per week
• Good variety of small‑animal GP cases in a modern, light and well‑equipped practice
• Sole‑charge role at times, supported by an experienced VN and strong administrative team
• No on‑call requirement
• Opening hours: 8 am–6 pm Monday–Friday
• Fair share of Saturday mornings (8.30 am – 12 pm)
• Opportunity to help shape and grow a new independent practice

About you

• Confident small‑animal GP vet with solid clinical and communication skills
• Comfortable with routine surgery and medicine
• Happy working sole charge when required
• Keen to be part of a genuinely independent, vet‑led practice
