We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Solicitor / Legal Executive to join our Wills & Probate team, managing a varied caseload and supporting colleagues while delivering outstanding client care.

This role is about more than just technical expertise, it is about being a trusted adviser to individuals and families at key life moments.

Your role

You will manage your own caseload of private client matters including Wills, Probate, LPAs and Trusts. Alongside this, you will provide supervision to junior colleagues and contribute to the department’s continued success.

• Handling a varied caseload of private client matters
• Supervising and mentoring secretarial and junior fee earning staff
• Delivering excellent client care and maintaining strong professional relationships
• Ensuring accurate billing, time recording and credit control
• Upholding confidentiality and SRA compliance at all times
• Liaising with colleagues and external organisations effectively
• Supporting the promotion and business development of the department

To thrive in this role, you will need to:

• Be a qualified Solicitor or fully qualified Legal Executive with proven Wills & Probate experience
• Possess excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Be confident managing your own caseload independently
• Show experience supervising staff (or readiness to take this on)
• Be proactive, organised and dedicated to high standards of service
• You will succeed if you’re empathetic, client-focused and confident in your expertise.
