We’re supporting a highly respected creative agency that works with major pharmaceutical brands to deliver stand-out campaigns across the health and wellbeing space to find an Account Director to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Account Manager ready to take that next step, or an Account Director looking for a more empowering, strategically led role.
You’ll join an ambitious, collaborative team known for combining insight-driven thinking with impactful creative work across digital, integrated and multichannel campaigns.

In this senior client-facing position, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping work that truly influences healthcare audiences. Your focus will be on leading accounts, elevating strategic thinking, and ensuring seamless delivery across a varied range of projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing key client relationships built on trust, understanding and proactive partnership
- Guiding the strategic direction of projects and helping clients navigate complex healthcare challenges
- Working closely with creative, digital and scientific teams to bring high-quality campaigns to life
- Driving account performance through strong financial oversight, forecasting and effective prioritisation
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow client business
- Providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members to support their development
- Staying informed on industry shifts, digital behaviours and the evolving UK healthcare communications landscape
- Contributing to pitch activity and supporting wider agency growth initiatives
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit
This role suits someone who combines strategic thinking with commercial awareness and a passion for delivering high-impact creative healthcare work.
You should bring:
- Experience working in a healthcare advertising or creative agency, ideally at Senior Account Manager level or above
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and the broader healthcare ecosystem
- Confident leadership of client relationships and multi-disciplinary internal teams
- Experience delivering projects across multiple channels, including digital
- Clear, persuasive communication skills and the ability to influence decision-making
- Strong commercial acumen with proven budget and project management capability
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and a genuine enthusiasm for creative problem-solving
