Responsibilities
- Experience with analysis and design
- Proficiency with engineering software such as Tekla, IDEA StatiCA & TEDDS
- Ability to produce hand calculations
- Deliver design work, construction site support and inspections
- Prepare technical reports, scopes of work, material specifications, CDM activities & inter‑discipline design coordination
- Assisting team members to promote their technical and professional development
Qualifications & Skills
- (BEng or MEng) degree, qualified structural engineer
- All‑round technical design expertise – British / international standards, and/or Eurocodes
- Seismic knowledge, dynamic and extreme environmental loading is highly beneficial
- Ability to prepare bids and proposals
- BIM packages knowledge
- Design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork experience
