The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role for a Workday Finance specialist who enjoys being close to the business and making systems work better every day. As Finance Workday Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in keeping Workday Financials stable, optimised, and continuously evolving, supporting finance teams with reliable data, efficient processes, and smart configuration.
You’ll sit at the intersection of Finance, IT, and the wider business, owning day-to-day support while also contributing to enhancements, releases, and transformation initiatives.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Partner with the Finance Workday Lead to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of Workday Financials.
- Act as a Tier-2 escalation point, resolving complex issues that go beyond standard user guidance.
- Own ticket triage, ensuring issues are prioritised, resolved efficiently, or escalated appropriately.
- Support Workday change initiatives, enhancements, and release cycles.
- Configure and support Workday Financial Management modules including GL, AP, AR, Expenses, and related areas.
- Manage business processes, approval workflows, and security roles.
- Play a key role in supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience supporting Workday Financial Management.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, reporting, and business processes.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues.
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with finance users and technical teams.
- Experience working in a ticketing environment and/or Agile delivery model.
- Workday Financials certification(s).
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
