The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, managing client portfolios, and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality accounting services that elevate the firm's reputation and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a personal portfolio of client accounts, ensuring exceptional service and the timely delivery of all actions, deadlines, and client discussions.
- Develop and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with clients, directors, and staff to foster trust and collaboration.
- Review team files to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and statutory regulations, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
- Provide industry‑leading insights, advice, and solutions to enhance the firm's reputation and drive client expansion.
- Drive efficiency and profitability by implementing best practices and leveraging technology to optimise workflows.
- Contribute to strategic and business planning, focusing on increasing revenue, profitability, and overall business growth.
- Take responsibility for managing client relationships, ensuring maximum value, quality, and compliance across the board.
- Complete a personal portfolio of client work, offering expert insights and advice to clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with experience in an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent client management and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and sustain relationships.
- Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem‑solving abilities.
