About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic UK Investment Accounting Team, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier financial services to a diverse portfolio of clients in the Real Estate sector. In this position, you will leverage your expertise in accounting principles to create, review, and streamline financial statements and management reports.

Our Investment, Accounting, and Reporting Solutions division operates on a global scale, with offices in the UK, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Germany, and Poland. As a Lead Accountant, you will work in close collaboration with a passionate and dedicated team, ensuring we provide exceptional services that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary internal and external client contact, ensuring timely delivery of all reporting for your allocated client portfolio.

- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts including preparing and posting accrual journals and cash movements and reviewing property management reporting

- Prepare annual and interim financial statements in accordance with IFRS and FRS 102 for various entity types and jurisdictions

- Serve as the auditors main point of contact for you client portfolio, providing information as required

- Prepare information for tax advisors including CIT, VAT and CIS returns

- Assist with due diligence and NAV calculations related to the acquisition and disposal of entities and assets.

Qualifications:

- Working towards accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, or CIMA) is preferred, but not essential.

- Experience in preparing financial statements and accounting for transactions in accordance with IFRS and FRS 102.

- Ability to analyse potential solutions using technical expertise and sound judgment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

- Excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
