Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + study support
Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office
I'm working with a well‑known UK brand who are looking to hire a Finance Associate to join their growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone part‑qualified (CIMA / ACCA or similar) who wants to gain hands‑on commercial experience while being fully supported through qualification.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting month‑end close, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing core AP/AR processes and ensuring accuracy across the ledger
- Producing management information to support business decision making
- Business partnering with stakeholders across the organisation
- Improving processes and identifying smarter ways of working
- Working heavily in Excel, using lookups, pivots and visual reporting
- Supporting wider finance projects as the function continues to evolve
What they're looking for:
- Currently studying CIMA / ACCA (part‑qualified is ideal)
- Around 2+ years' experience in a similar finance role
- Strong understanding of accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and balance sheets
- Confident communicator who can engage with non‑finance stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, presentations)
- Problem‑solver who can think outside the box
- SAP Business ByDesign experience is a plus but not essential
