Competitive salary starting at £45,444 and rising to £47,836 after a successful probationary period.
Description
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and promote best practices within the workplace.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to their implementation.
- Provide technical support and expertise to the engineering team as required.
Profile
A successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer should have:
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
