Manufacturing Engineer – FMCG Manufacturing
The Role
Are you a hands-on Continuous Improvement or Manufacturing Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment?
This role focuses on leading packaging trials, process optimisation and automation improvements across a high-volume manufacturing operation. You’ll work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Product Development to improve performance, efficiency and cost across production assets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and executing line trials and implementation projects
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing assets
- Ensuring packaging compatibility with automation and production equipment
- Supporting new product introductions (NPI) into manufacturing
- Improving efficiency, reducing waste and optimising configurations
- Supporting new equipment introductions, FAT testing and validation
- Troubleshooting packaging and production-related challenges
- Championing GMP, quality and safety standards
About You
- Experience in FMCG or Manufacturing
- Strong CI mindset (Lean, OEE improvement, waste & cost reduction)
- Comfortable leading factory trials and cross-functional projects
- Self-motivated, analytical and solutions-focused
