About the Role
A rapidly growing passive fire protection company is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join their commercial team on a 12-month fixed-term contract - (may be extended due to growth). This role is pivotal in managing the financial and commercial performance of multiple projects, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations to assess work requirements and costings
- Maintain client relationships and support business development
- Liaise with the Commercial Director on future opportunities
- Prepare monthly valuations and applications in line with client schedules
- Oversee invoicing and resolve account queries with credit control and operations
- Ensure accurate financial documentation across all projects
- Produce and maintain monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations)
- Track labour and material costs against project value
- Maintain and update payment trackers
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager in construction or fire protection
- Strong understanding of commercial processes and financial reporting
- Proficient in cloud-based systems and digital documentation
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
