Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Midlands
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular engagement
- Understand client requirements and present tailored technical solutions
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and performance reports
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking activities as required
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within technical, industrial, or solution-based environments
- Strong knowledge of the Midlands market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel within the Midlands
- Full UK driving licence preferred
