Are you a natural leader with a passion for logistics and supply chain efficiency? A growing organisation in the Manufacturing sector is looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to take ownership of our end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for everything from overseeing goods-in, inventory management, and warehouse operations, through to despatch, transportation planning, and performance optimisation. You’ll manage both internal teams and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods — all while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Drive efficient daily operations of the warehouse and despatch functions
  2. Manage goods in/out, stock control, and inventory accuracy using WMS
  3. Optimise warehouse layout and workflow for maximum productivity
  4. Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing warehouse team
  5. Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics and transport planning
  6. Monitor performance metrics and deliver regular KPI reports
  7. Collaborate across departments including sales, procurement, and customer service
  8. Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations

What we’re looking for:

  1. Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management
  2. Experience in a manufacturing or production-led environment
  3. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
  4. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and planning abilities
  5. Confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
  6. Knowledge of transport/logistics legislation and health & safety standards
  7. Ability to effect large scale change
  8. ISO / NBOSH / IOSH certification
  9. Professional body – institute for warehouse logistics
