Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Scotland (ideal) OR Manchester/Liverpool (secondary)
Wenham Carter Group are proudly supporting an established global leader in healthcare and diagnostics, specializing in innovative IVD solutions.
Our client are seeking a Business Development Manager for North UK & Ireland. Reporting to the General Manager of the UK, the role contributes to the growth of their successful portfolio
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the product portfolio to meet sales targets by raising brand awareness and providing support to customers
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage pre- and post-sales processes in collaboration with internal teams
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and meetings, reporting on market trends and competitor activity
- Coordinate field activities during the pre- and post-sales process in partnership with the relevant colleagues and external stakeholders
- Proactively address customer questions and concerns professionally to develop loyalty, customer satisfaction, and create new business opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Life Science/Clinical Sciences or similar field
- Direct selling experience to the clinical diagnostics market with capital equipment, as seen by recent career history to NHS & Private sectors
- Awareness of the hospital and laboratory selling market. Established network highly desirable
- Flexibility to travel within UK & Ireland, with occasional travel to Europe
