Role Overview
We’re looking for a commercially minded and proactive Senior Finance Manager to lead our financial control and reporting activities.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the monthly accounting cycle, cost control and forecasting, while also stepping back to assess the broader commercial impact of business decisions.
You’ll lead a team of six and act as a key partner to senior leadership, combining strong technical expertise with strategic thinking. This is a high‑impact role where your ability to drive improvements, influence stakeholders and lead a high‑performing team will be critical.
Responsibilities
- Leading and developing a team of six, driving performance and fostering a high‑performing, supportive culture
- Owning the end‑to‑end monthly accounting and reporting cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and insightful outputs
- Delivering clear financial reporting and commentary to senior stakeholders, including the CFO
- Acting as a trusted finance business partner, supporting strategic and commercial decision‑making
- Supporting budgeting, long‑range planning and reforecasting in collaboration with FP&A
- Leading financial control activities, strengthening processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Working closely with Group Reporting on statutory accounts, including external audit coordination
- Partnering with data teams to improve automation, analytics and decision support
- Identifying trends, risks and opportunities, and assessing the financial impact of business changes
- Driving continuous improvement through process optimisation and automation initiatives
- Contributing to ad hoc projects across finance and the wider business
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant with 4+ years post‑qualification experience
- Proven experience leading and developing high‑performing teams
- Strong background in financial management, reporting and controls
- Ability to balance technical expertise with commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Experience improving and automating processes in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Analytical and inquisitive mindset, with the ability to simplify complexity
- Experience working in high‑volume, multi‑currency, multinational environments

- E‑commerce or data‑rich environment experience
- Experience working across multi‑site or multi‑country teams
