We are seeking a visionary Head Coach to lead our flagship London training team, uphold the highest standards of scientific coaching, and drive the evolution of our longevity‑focused methodology.
Role Overview
As the Head Coach, you are the technical authority of Ydun Marylebone. You lead the studio’s sophisticated assessment process, responsible for conducting deep‑dived evaluations that span Mobility & Range of Motion, Force & Explosiveness, VO₂ Max, and Body Composition. You will interpret this data alongside other biometrics results to create high‑performance strategies that maximise member healthspan.
Beyond your own practice, you are responsible for mentoring and training the team to lead these assessments, ensuring every trainer is proficient in conducting them in your absence. You will also oversee the integration of our adaptive resistance technology and manage the quality of our 30‑minute high‑efficiency sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment Leadership: Lead the Ydun Assessments (Strength, Mobility, and Cardiovascular performance) and translate data into bespoke member plans.
- Staff Training & Mentorship: Train the coaching team to lead assessments with clinical precision and foster a culture of technical mastery.
- Adaptive Resistance Mastery: Act as the lead expert on Ydun’s specialised training technology, ensuring trainers maximise its physiological impact.
- External Collaboration: Manage the partnership with our affiliated clinic and external specialists; you will review assessment data with clinical partners and coordinate directly with specialists to ensure a seamless, integrated approach to member care.
- Quality & Standards: Conduct regular audits of sessions and assessments to ensure impeccable form, hospitality, and data accuracy.
- Member Success Management: Own the "Member Journey," ensuring that physical and biomarker data result in measurable improvements in longevity.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the Studio Manager to optimise scheduling and maintain a seamless flow across the studio.
Qualifications
- Education: A degree in Sports Science, Physiology, or Physiotherapy is essential.
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years of coaching experience with 3+ years in a management role, ideally in a luxury or high‑performance environment.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of adaptive resistance, biomechanics, and physiological testing protocols (VO₂ Max, Force, etc.).
- Data Literacy: Exceptional ability to interpret complex health data and explain it simply to a premium clientele.
- Tech‑Fluent: Advanced proficiency in AI‑driven training software and tools like Notion and Google Workspace.
