JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY
Are you a Gas or Oil Heating Engineer and looking for your next opportunity? CTS-Cardo are seeking to recruit additional Electrical Inspection & Test Engineers for new contracts in the Belfast and South Down Areas.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out gas and oil servicing
- Response maintenance as and when required
- Communicate with management and Quantity Surveyor
- Itemize the work to be carried out in customers dwellings and premises
- Carry out the actual work to the high-quality standards that the organization expects
- Uphold Data Protection Policies
- Travel across North & South Down as required
- Undertake any other duty deemed necessary by Management, to ensure the efficient running of the business
Health & Safety:
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times
- Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately
- Ensure all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed
- Observe & follow all manual handling practices
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Suitable Candidates must process:
- Gas Safe and/or Oftec qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent
- Must be eligible for OFTEC and On Gas safe Register
- Completed oil training courses
- Evidence of gas courses either CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, MET1 or others
- Completed and up to date Gas qualifications and either be gas certified
- Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training
- Full UK Driving License
- Experience in construction or plumbing and heating industry

In addition,
- As the majority of the work will be conducted in Public Sector or Housing Associations, we will require a recent Enhanced Access NI certificate CTS will perform a Access NI check as part of the on-boarding process.
