We are currently partnered with a leading UK based Real Estate company to recruit an experienced and strategic No.2 in Finance.
HQ in Central location. The collaborative team adopt a hybrid working pattern, 3 days per week in the office, with flexibility in mind.
This role would best suit an entrepreneurial thinker who thrives on the ‘non-BAU’ and enjoys the variety of new projects and challenges.
- Partner with the Group CFO to manage and strengthen key external relationships, including high-value client stakeholders.
- Oversee the group’s consolidated financial reporting across all subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery.
- Working with the Group CFO to produce quarterly board reports, delivering clear insights on budget variances, cash flow forecasts, and other corporate and financial matters.
- Support the Group CFO in modelling new business structures, driving strategic business planning, financial modelling, and long-term budgeting aligned with group objectives.
- Business Partner with senior stakeholders (financial and non-financial) to develop robust financial business cases and assess commercial viability for strategic initiatives.
- Help the business to identify new opportunities to improve cost efficiency, margins, and overall return on investment.
- Act as a key driver of change, delivering enhancements in financial automation, system integration, and financial controls.
About You
- Proven experience within an SME environment, with a strong track record in a senior finance leadership role.
- Experience with AI, NetSuite and Power BI ideally.
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial awareness and the ability to partner effectively with the wider business.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High levels of integrity, discretion, and commitment to compliance and confidentiality.
- Clear and persuasive communicator.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Hands-on approach with the flexibility to adapt and contribute to ad hoc projects when required.
