I’m currently working in partnership with a highly regarded, forward‑thinking law firm that is entering an exciting phase of growth. As part of their continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a Head of Private Client to lead and develop their established team.

This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor who is either already operating at a senior level or looking to step into a leadership role with real influence and autonomy.

The Role

You will take the lead on a broad range of high‑quality private client matters, while also playing a key role in shaping the future of the department. The firm is keen to invest in this area, offering you the platform to grow the team and drive strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing the Private Client department
• Managing a varied caseload including wills, probate, trusts, estate planning, and tax matters
• Driving business development and strengthening client relationships
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members
• Working closely with senior leadership on growth plans

The Candidate

The firm is looking for:

• A qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with strong Private Client experience
• Someone with leadership experience or clear aspirations to step into a Head of role
• A commercially minded individual with a passion for client service and growth
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
