Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a combination of business strategy, product marketing, creativity, analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills. The role will work closely with Product, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and other departments to deliver critical business initiatives for the buyers and suppliers of our programmatic sample platform. This role will focus on the demand side of our marketplace, including our self‑service UI, services, APIs, and emerging offerings such as AI and synthetic data.
Responsibilities
- Lead go‑to‑market planning and execution for new products and features from idea through launch, while setting and continuously managing expectations with all relevant stakeholders.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Product and Commercial teams to identify and size market opportunities, define new features and products, validate with clients, and position them in the market/industry.
- Conduct competitive, market, and customer research to uncover insights that drive positioning for existing products and new ideas; package findings into market trend presentations, internal battle cards, win/loss reports, and other resources.
- Synthesize market intelligence and customer insights—be the expert on our customers, the segments we serve, and on the broader market research and advertising industries.
- Partner with marketing to translate value propositions, positioning, and messaging into marketing and sales initiatives, including sales collateral and marketing content.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing working for SaaS companies.
- Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit, able to work independently while building strong internal relationships and consensus on critical initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent people and collaboration skills to interact with cross‑functional teams and third parties; ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing time and resources based on business impact.
- Passion for delighting and advocating for customers and an intimate understanding of how and when to influence customer behavior.
