They are seeking an Operations Director to lead and optimise production across multiple sites, driving safe, efficient, and commercially focused performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational performance across a multi-site production network
- Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency
- Develop and deliver operational strategy aligned with business growth plans
- Lead, mentor, and develop site leaders and operational management teams
- Ensure full compliance with HSE, regulatory, and environmental standards
- Oversee cost control, budgeting, and performance reporting
- Align production with commercial demand and customer requirements
- Deliver continuous improvement initiatives and capital investment projects
Key Requirements
- Proven senior operations leadership experience within construction materials, manufacturing, or heavy industry
- Track record managing multi-site operations and large teams over 50 employees
- Strong understanding of production processes, HSE, and operational excellence
- Experience driving change and improving operational performance
- Commercial awareness with strong cost control capability
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
