Family Solicitor / Legal Executive

This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor who is passionate about legally supporting Clients with a wide range of Family matters.

What you’ll do

When you join the team with Davisons Law as an experienced Family Solicitor for our Cotteridge Davisons Law office, you will provide accurate family law advice to clients and handle matters from initial instruction through to completion unsupervised.You will manage your own case load with all aspects of family law including divorce, financial remedy, separation, co-habitation, pre and post nuptial agreements, domestic violence, and children law. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries, and you will either handle these or allocate them. This is a new role at this office therefore you will not take over an existing case load.

Ideally you will be a fully qualified experienced solicitor with at least 3 years PQE or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives

Key Responsibilities

• Have a proven track record of conducting proceedings from commencement to conclusion.
• Be passionate about developing and maintaining strong professional working relationships with clients, and referrers.
• Support the development of the Family Law Department and the Company in growing its client base by the delivery of an excellent service, your local connections and through supporting networking events.
• Advocacy experience
• Manage own work allocation must have proven track record as a Family Law Fee Earner
• Process cases in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Strong organisation skillset, IT literate and experience of using case management systems.
• Be commercially driven and astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact to the practice, generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
• To have excellent administrative, planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Experience of handling client enquiries both face to face, remotely and by telephone.
• Have a firm and functional knowledge within family law, continuously updating your legal knowledge and staying informed about relevant legal developments.
