Location: Ideally based between Newcastle, Edinburgh, or Glasgow

Their customers include organisations in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, contract research, agrochemical, academic, and specialty chemical sectors.

The Role

• Develop new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle within the territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular visits and communication.
• Deliver product demonstrations and training, helping customers select suitable laboratory solutions.
• Maintain accurate sales records and track pipeline activity using the company CRM system.
• Represent the company at exhibitions and events while monitoring market trends and competitor activity.

About you

• Degree (BSc or higher) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
• Experience working with chemists or researchers in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, CROs, biotech, research, or chemical manufacturing
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets or developing customer relationships
